Volotar

Overview

Volotar first appeared in ‘Future Tense’ when he arrived on the Maximus with Temperance. At this stage, Volotar converted into the battle armor used by Temperance. However, Volotar was fully independent from Temperance.

In, ‘Enter the Axis of Time,’ Volotar left to explore the universe with Temperance’s blessing. In, ‘Aftermath,’ Volotar came back into the fold when he was sought out in order to be informed of Temperance’s supposed death.

Volotar then relocated to the CA1 station to serve as the Autobot Ambassador. However, in, ‘The Beginning of the End,’ his conscience merged with the main computer of the station. Unfortunately for Volotar, there was no way to separate his conscience from the computer core. Thus, he accepted his fate and functioned as the main computer for the station.

That is a role Volotar would resume when CA2 was built. CA2 was designed with Volotar specifically in mind.

After the destruction of CA2, Temperance finally managed to find a way to separate Volotar from the computer core. Thus, Volotar was free to move about independently once more.
