RPG Summary

Ships go missing everyday, in the galactic reaches far from Cybertron. Some of them are destroyed or captured by pirates. Some suffer from malfunctions or the occasional mutiny. Some of them are just running a little late. Some fall into wormholes and are never heard from again...

When the unsuspecting crew of a Maximal colony ship was ambushed by a Predacon battlecruiser, few of them expected to survive. Fewer still expected the form their salvation would take. On the other side of the wormhole, in the heart of an asteroid field, was a world bursting with life and dangers, home and/or prison to ruined civilizations, fanatical cults, space pirates and worse. With both ships crashed and either side now stranded, the two factions will band together and put aside their differences to survive... Or not. Welcome to the Rock.

In Depth

Inhabitants of the Argos and Temple Ruins

Leading Maximals (NPCs)

  • Ravena, first officer of the Argos. Raven beast warrior. Kodiak's protege, Academy rival to Massif. MIA.
  • Massif, security chief - captain. Transmetal mammoth. Strictly 'by-the-book' - and well-versed in any loopholes. Suspected of 'un-Maximal' tactics in the past.
  • Jasper, justice of the peace, diplomatic aide, communications officer. Modeless. Kodiak's friend, confidante and trial lawyer during his many court martials. MIA.
  • Caduceus, medical/science AI of the Argos.

  • Alumina, first officer of the Sleipnir.
  • Daedalus, chief engineer of the Sleipnir.

The Enclave

  • Cybertronian slavers and energon claim-jumpers, turned cultists and missionaries of a dead god. Their leader believed himself to be the messianic avatar of that selfsame god, fallen to earth to spread the Word.
The Slavers
  • Virtue and Vice, twins, dove and vulture respectively. The loving velvet glove and sadistic iron fist of the Enclave. Mind-control, telepathy and healing abilities.
  • Templar, a holy warrior and crusader. Modeless Transmetal-2(?). A massive powerhouse, on land or in the air. Pyrokinetic.
  • Dretch, simpering former merchant, now purchasing agent, toady and all-around whipping boy for the slavers. Snail beast warrior. Deceptively heavily armed, like all of the Enclave.
  • Mayhem, old-school slaver and longtime gangster. Leader of the Enclave's attack fleet. Cranefly beast warrior. Later betrayed the Enclave to join forces with the Kismet under Malady.
  • Blackguard, a ruthless slaver with thespian pretentions. Falcon beast warrior. Cowardly, with a penchant for challenging foes to a swordfight, then shooting them in the back. Also betrayed the Enclave, but joined Captain Axle's crew as a 'reformed' Maximal.
  • Codex, mercenary, plain and simple. Modeless, with only a rudimentary personality. Body is entirely modular, with a storehouse of spare parts and alternating weapons choices.
  • Kilobyte, hacker. Transmetal rilobite. Current carrier and handler of the sentient computer virus Abacus.
  • Abacus, sentient computer virus with a weak sense of humour. Characteristic laugh: "Ha. Ha. Ha."
