The Dark Times RPG

Cybertron has been attacked and invaded. The Council of Five, holders of the five Matrices... Leadership, Power, Wisdom, Knowledge and Creation, has been broken. The key to the invasion was a dark betrayal from within the council.

Terse, an acolyte of the Matrix of Wisdom, finds the tower the council holds their meetins in tattered and in ruins. He finds the dying "Lifegiver", the holder of the Matrix of Creation, who tells him to remove the Matrix of Leadership from the Prime of Cybertron. They flee, and Terce puts the the Lifegive into a stasis receptical called Vector Sigma. Finding his way impeded, the Lifegiver urges him to open the Matrix of Leadership. Terce is transformed into A3, who begins his quest to find and recruit other survivors into the seed of a rebellion, whose goal it will be to throw off the bonds of these invaders.

Cybertronians

Alpha Trion - He begins the story as Terce, an acolyte for the Matrix of Wisdom, but is transformed into A3 when he opens the Matrix of Leadership. He later takes the name Alpha Trion in a battle with Maximus.

Maximus - Holder of the Matrix of Power and the Commander of all of the forces of Cybertron. It was he who betrayed Cybertron and allowed the invaders access to his planet.

Stratos - Aerialbot who came to Alpha Trion's aid in the streets of the capital of Cybertron.

Grimm - Mysterious beast who has been released at the Monastery of Acheron. He has sworn loyalty to Maximus.

Quintessons

Vacillus - Magistrate of the invading Quintesson forces.
