Description
CDCR In-Mate Summary
Hubert Gerald Reeves is a 6’2, 190-lb, African-American male with short black hair, brown eyes and a propensity for violence. His psychotic tendencies are in no way a poor reflection on his character; he is to be considered dangerous at all times, and handled with the utmost caution. Efforts to rehabilitate Mr. Reeves by way of anger management courses have only ended in utter failure, and should not be considered a prudent expense for the state of California. Reeves, according to his birth certificate, was born in the city of Los Angeles on March 20th, 1981. Psychiatric analysis has revealed that an apparent lack of other options in his life drove Reeves -- or ‘Hu-G’, as he is referred to by his criminal associates – to gang life. From the age of 14 he has been affiliated with the infamous ‘Crip’ street gang, which he proudly exhibits via a blue bandana tied to his left wrist. His typical attire includes: a ribbed, white, sleeveless t-shirt; the afore-mentioned blue bandana; baggy blue-jeans; and either white sneakers or tan boots. Distinguishing marks include: a tear tattoo below the right eye; the words “Los Angeles” tattooed in gothic text across the upper stomach; the letters “P.B.U.H” tattooed on the left pectoral; and two large scars, approximately 6 inches in length, extending downwards from either shoulder-blade. Reeves has a history of what have been most often diagnosed by prison infirmary doctors as epileptic fits, during which he loses consciousness and bleeds from his scars. Surgery performed explicitly to determine the cause of this bleeding has been thus-far unsuccessful in finding physical anomalies, and requests for expert consultation have been denied by prison administration. His criminal record is extensive, and includes but is not exclusive to: manslaughter, armed robbery, assault, theft, and vandalism. It is believed that many unsolved gang-related crimes can be attributed to Hubert, as indicated by spray-painted wings flanking the corpses of his victims, and graffiti works of the moniker ‘Herald’ at the scenes of many crimes. Reeves claims to be Muslim, and often uses the Arabic name listed above instead of his given one, but does not follow Islamic law or common practices. Aside from occasionally-observed prayer, it would appear that Reeves is not a practicing Muslim, but may be planning to use religious revelation as a means of gaining early parole.
Reeves is currently assigned to Work Team 3 of the CDCR Highway Maintenance Program, as per judicial instruction to service the public as part of his terms of imprisonment.
UPDATE: Reeves was last seen heading NORTH on ROUTE 73, having disarmed a CDCR officer and carjacked a passing motorist. If seen, no effort to capture him is to be made; instead, adequate assistance is to be requested and his last known position and direction of travel are to be noted.
Creator's Addendum
Hubert Gerald Reeves, or ‘Mansur’ as he is soon to be more commonly known, was born as an instrument of God. The mostly-dormant soul of an Angel resides within him, and its occasional near-awakenings are responsible for the scars on Reeves’s back. Its subsequent remissions result in a lack of dominant consciousness – thus, the blackouts. As Reeves is an instrument of God, He has an interest in keeping the young man alive, although the slumber-some spirit and its apparent refusal to apotheosize its host occasionally give Him doubt. However, these doubts are often forgotten once His innate infallibility is recalled, and that the possibility of a mistake on His part is, by definition, impossible. Whether this divine arrogance is warranted remains to be seen. Hubert Gerald is about to enter a particularly dangerous time in his life, as he heads north along Route 73. Still shackled, armed with a fully-loaded Glock 9mm pistol, and dressed in a moderately suspicious fluorescent orange jumpsuit, he his heading directly towards a rift in God's providence where Divine Intervention is merely Divine Suggestion.
Of course, Mansur is unaware of anything supernatural surrounding him and was, in fact, using Islam as a ploy to gain early parole.
