Summary
Everyone in Kyoz-Asgi knows this man's plump, reasonable face, his white hair, deep tan and bright, friendly blue eyes. The former KA Minister of Safety exercised an impressive influence in his quest to restructure the Company, installing automated systems to take over the most dangerous jobs while beefing up S&S (safety and security) forces across the board, providing new jobs and a better quality of life, not to mention a capable militia in times of need. Eventually, it became simplest if they were all answerable to one authority, which in the days of Minister Sachs, was he or his son. The Sachses later stepped down, although their family-owned subsidiary is still closely involved in outfitting S&S in KA. Duncan is deeply knowledgeable, well-versed in all of what he believes are the major military players on Lith, including some of their magic and most of their technology.

- Laser Pistol - Duncan is a deadly shot, able to shoot a running man in the heart from over 500 yards. The weapon is extremely fast, reaching across long distances almost instantly, though it may still take a few milliseconds to burn through the skin or armour and hit something vital. Firing a continuous beam, one must be careful that nothing crosses one's path while the trigger is held down.
- KA Troopers - Four Company Special Project officers, hand-picked for their discipline and experience, armed with a variety of KA special energy weapons and tin-can ablative suits - though this is more of a selling point than it is for Company defense.
