Axis of Time

Overview

Essentially the Axis of Time exists outside of space and time and was created by Temperance’s race to essentially be a 'lighthouse in the sea of time'.

The Axis first appeared in, 'Enter the Axis of Time.' It was subsequently destroyed in ‘Trouble in the Axis of Time,’ by Temperance to prevent the Endless from further using it to carry out their aims. It is believed that Temperance survived the implosion of the Axis, but was transported to another universe.

It is suspected however that the Endless may have in fact wanted the Axis destroyed. Thus, they allowed Temperance to do so. One reason is that, with the Axis gone, they would be enabled to hide in various places throughout the timeline unchecked and thus find ideal host bodies or the Endless could have some greater purpose.

The Axis was later replaced by the Temporal Flux Generator.
