Ashen

Overview

Ashen is in fact a much older version of Pyre. However from what time and universe he is from is not clear. Therefore, Ashen may or may not be an older version of the Pyre from the CA proper universe. He seems to be far less uptight then the CA proper Pyre and perhaps a little less there as is the case with many senior citizens. His goal seems to be to stop the fracturing of time that was caused when the Axis of Time was destroyed. However, his true intentions are not clear. He seems to be one of the ‘hero’s,’ but that’s hard to say as there is just not enough to go on.

Ashen does not appear in person. He appears via ‘video-orbs,’ which he uses to relate messages to Cyan’s and Jungle’s ragtag group on CA3. Notably, the video-orbs appear at times which are too convenient to be coincidence. It was Ashen, via the video-orbs, who instructed Cyan to help the Carcanens fight the Carbations on CA3. It was also Ashen who instructed Cyan and Jungle to enter the Time Shard that was created when Backlash’s body exploded.

Ashen also took part in the comedic Cybertronian Beta RPG, where he used his infinite experience to be an old crumudgeon and hit people over the head with his walking stick. Signs point to this actually being the same exact Ashen described above. I think he was on CB to raise money for the video orbs, or something.
